Profile of Computer Engineering Study Program

UNIKOM Computer Engineering Diploma Three Study Program was established in 2000 under the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science (FTIK). This program aims to produce excellent graduates in the field of computer engineering with a focus on embedded systems, mobile computing, and computer networks.

The vision of the Computer Engineering Study Program is “To become a superior and leading study program in the field of computer engineering with a global outlook and entrepreneurial spirit oriented to the interests of society and the nation”. Strategies for this vision include developing a KKNI-based curriculum, improving the quality of human resources, research, community service, and strengthening cooperation with the industrial world. PIQIE (Professionalism, Integrity, Quality, Information Technology, Excellence) is an organizational culture that is the basis for academic and non-academic management at UNIKOM, including the Computer Engineering Study Program. These values ensure that the Computer Engineering Study Program continues to develop as a future-oriented educational institution, contributes to society, and produces graduates who are ready to answer global challenges.

The Computer Engineering Study Program has shown quality improvement in various aspects, such as: KKNI-based curriculum tailored to the needs of the industrial world, with a focus on embedded systems, mobile computing, and computer networks by utilizing technology by implementing technology-based learning through the Learning Management System (LMS). The Computer Engineering Study Program curriculum is flexible by always following technological developments through a continuous review and evaluation process within 4-5 years. The Computer Engineering Study Program has a high level of graduate user satisfaction, especially in the technical, communication, and teamwork skills of graduates.
